About Autism Support Network

Autism Support Network is the positive upshot of what is best described as the pent-up frustrations of a group of parents with autism at home- in trying to get behavioral treatment for their children. Virtually every parent of autistic children who has ever tried to get his or her child into an autism-focused program knows that it takes an average of 6 to 24 months to get a child into a program designed to treat his/her condition. Programs that have shorter waiting periods- and typically one-on-one in nature tend to be financially out of the reach of families with average incomes.

With the common mindset that early intervention offers the best prospect for an autistic child's future success in life, the founding group of pro-active parents and Para-professionals banded together to develop a framework to forge alliances with institutions and resource providers worldwide for the recruitment, training and deployment of qualified professional therapists and trainers from around the globe to provide intensive early intervention programs for the community at large.
